Superior Steel Quality

The quality of steel is crucial in barrel making. We have established our own specifications for steel, accepting higher costs to ensure compliance with our strict requirements. Our exhaustive metallurgical tests identify the ideal molecular composition for excellent barrel steel. For over 30 years, this process of testing and perfecting steel composition and heat treatment has been continuous. We offer our barrels in stainless steel or chrome moly, both adhering to the same high standards.

Single-Point Cut-Rifling

We employ the single-point cut-rifling process for all our barrels. This method, being the oldest and most precise, ensures almost perfect concentricity between bore and groove, uniform twist rate, and no induced stress. Our barrels undergo lapping after reaming to remove tool marks and are hand-lapped again post-rifling. We finish lap to under 16 micro-inch, surpassing the government's 32 micro-inch requirement for M-14 National Match barrels.
