Precision Reloading Presses
Single-stage and arbor presses for the precision bench, headlined by the Micron Precision Magnum Dual Ram press we design and machine in our own Fargo shop, available with dual adjustable, right adjustable, or fixed rams. We also list vintage and used RCBS presses when they come through the shop.
Threaded Press or Arbor Press?
A threaded single-stage press takes standard 7/8"-14 dies and does everything: full-length sizing, depriming, and seating. An arbor press drives inline hand dies and gives you direct feel for seating force, which is why benchrest shooters load at the range with one. Many serious reloaders end up with both: a threaded press for sizing, an arbor press for seating.
FAQ
Why a dual ram press?
Two rams means two dies mounted at once, so you can size and seat without swapping dies, and the adjustable-ram versions let you fine-tune alignment per station.
Will my existing dies fit?
Any standard 7/8"-14 threaded die fits the threaded stations, including our Micron bushing sizing dies and seating dies.
What do I need for arbor dies?
An arbor press and inline dies, sold in our arbor seating dies category. The die does the aligning; the press supplies controlled force.
