Description

Berger Bullets .30 Cal 168gr VLD Target – 30410 (Qty 100)

The Berger VLD (Very Low Drag) Target bullet is built for flat flight and match-winning consistency. Its aggressive secant ogive slashes drag so shots fly flatter, drift less in wind, and hold velocity farther downrange.

Why VLD Target?

  • Secant ogive efficiency: Proven external ballistics for flatter trajectories and reduced wind drift.
  • Match-grade core: Berger’s tight process control means you don’t need to sort by weight for consistent POI.
  • Boat tail base: Aerodynamic advantage through the transonic region for stable, long-range performance.
  • J4 Precision Jacket: Exceptional concentricity (+/- 0.0003") minimizes dispersion for tiny groups.

Best use

Designed for long-range target and competition where consistency, low drag, and reliable BC matter most.

    Unbelievable Results

Just getting into F-Class. Followed Erik Cortina’s advise to shoot Berger. He is absolutely correct! In my load development for 308 Win/Varget most loads produced.400" groups with a couple ¼ MOA. Admittedly one was at .700, that was the worst one. I believe I will have the load to shoot, now I have to do my part!
