This evolution gave birth to the Model 92S, which found adoption among several Italian law enforcement and military units.
One distinctive feature of the Model 92S is its magazine release button, located at the bottom of the grip as is customary in Europe. Production of this model spanned from 1978 to 1982.
Condition and Use
These Beretta Model 92S pistols are Italian Police trade-ins. While they are used firearms, they remain in excellent operational condition. The exterior condition varies, with most falling into the "Very Good to Good" cosmetic range. Expect some holster wear on the slides and finish wear on hard edges, such as around the trigger guard or beavertail.
Chambered in 9mm (9x19), these full-size pistols offer moderate weight, making them a joy to shoot. They serve excellently as carry pistols or for home defense. The lightweight alloy frames are paired with durable steel slides, ensuring reliability and longevity.

Beretta 92s
Not at all as described. My pistol was in fair condition at best. No finish left on slide and barrel at all. Significant pitting particularly on the barrel. I understand it’s always a gamble buying surplus but this was no where near good to very good. The FFL I had it transferred to saw the good to very good description and laughed. Maybe be honest next time? Likely my last purchase with bullet central.

Beretta - Model 92S
Condition accuracy would be more like fair to good. The pistol I received had a bit of rash on the bottom of the frame and on the bottom of the grip to go along with the excessive holster wear. Price was in line for the advertised condition of good to very good. I would not purchase again.
