For BAT actions manufactured before 2014, the firing pins feature a .250 diameter. It's important to note that most firing pins of this size are now out of stock, necessitating an upgrade. Upgrading requires a few additional components:

• New .280 diameter firing pin
• Replacement spring
• New shroud

Fortunately, your existing cocking piece remains compatible with these new components, ensuring a seamless transition.

Post-2014 BAT Actions

For more recent models, BAT actions made after 2014 utilize the newer .280 diameter firing pin. These are designed with our standard 0.070 diameter firing pin tip, ensuring precision and reliability in your shooting experience.

EX and EXS Firing Pins

The EX and EXS models bring a unique specification to the table, featuring a .37 body diameter. These models are equipped with a 0.087 diameter firing pin tip as standard, offering enhanced performance for specific shooting needs.

Special Note for CheyTac Bolt Face

For owners of EX and EXS bolts with the CheyTac (.650) bolt face, it's essential to be aware of variations. Some bolts have been reworked to a reduced .070 diameter firing pin tip. We strongly recommend measuring your bolt to confirm the firing pin tip size before making a purchase.
