Founded on the innovative spirit of Ralph Stolle, an avid benchrest competitor, Kelbly's Inc. traces its roots back to 1969 with the creation of the Stolle Grizzly action. This pioneering design, characterized by its substantial size and steel construction, set the stage for a legacy of precision and quality in the world of competitive shooting. The introduction of the aluminum Panda action in the early 70s marked a significant advancement in action design, showcasing Stolle's commitment to innovation and performance.
After Ralph Stolle's passing in 1982, Kelbly's Inc. continued to thrive under the leadership of the Kelbly family, growing from its original craftsmanship to a renowned manufacturer averaging over 1200 actions and more than 200 complete rifles annually, with a global customer base. Now under the guidance of George E. Kelbly Sr.'s sons and grandsons, Kelbly's Inc. remains dedicated to evolving their product line, embracing new technologies and designs to meet the exacting standards of today's shooters.
