Bartlein Barrels produces single-point cut-rifled barrels, a process known for excellent consistency and bore uniformity. Each groove is cut individually, allowing precise control over twist rate and geometry.

The majority of Bartlein barrels are made from 416R stainless steel, which accounts for most of their production. They also offer 4140 chrome moly and Mod400, a proprietary alloy designed to extend barrel life in higher round-count applications.

Bartlein offers multiple rifling styles, including 4-groove, conventional 5-groove, and 5R. Their 5R rifling uses an odd number of lands with angled sides, which helps reduce bullet deformation and can make cleaning easier compared to traditional square-shouldered rifling.
