NRL Hunter 2026 Grand Slam Finale
It wasn't the spectacular scenery. It wasn't the second to none well organized match. It wasn't even the warm welcome that has me looking forward to competing in a hunter match. It was the realization that even I could learn to pitch like that.
Having never been to a hunter match, I was no different than any other guy walking the planet with preconceived notions about "what is". And being of the slow sort, it took until that Sunday to lock in the idea that maybe, just maybe, I could play the gam

Prepping for a PRS Match
I'm one of the holdovers from a slower time. My reloading is pretty basic, tedious, but pretty accurate.
This combination of parts is going to become 6.5 Creedmoor ammo to be flung outta a 30" Brux barrel:
Lapua SRP brass - new
Sierra 142 Match Kings
Hodgdon H4350

Lakes Country PRC 2026 Regional Qualifier
Match Director Extraordinaire Darrick Davidson did it again. At the Rush Lake range he put on a match that went as seamlessly as any match can go. He was as everywhere as anyone can be.

2026 THS Steel Challenge: A PRS Match Recap
"Surviving" a two day National Qualifier PRS Match is not the language to use, or the language most participants would use to describe their experience, playing and having fun in the sun for two and a half days of long distance riflery, while climbing on barricades, belly flopping in the dirt, breathing dirt, squinting into the 100 degree sun, burning hands on barrels and suppressors after expending ten rounds in two minutes twenty times in two days, fighting for cognitive clarity while struggli

Shoot Like A Robot
On the way home from the Hell Creek Kustoms 600 match at Sentinel Butte, North Dakota last Saturday, I dialed up the latest PRS podcast on the World Wide Web. Ken Wheeler was interviewing Morgun King.
You know Morgun? The guy who used to be known as “The Best Shooter To Have Never Won A Golden Bullet?”
Well, that’s all been rectified now. Morgun’s a Golden Bullet winner, finally, and he’s open about how he got there. You know? Shooting, practicing, discovering
