What makes MDT different?
MDT (Modular Driven Technologies) was founded in 2009 in Chilliwack, British Columbia by competitive shooter Arne Brennan. Their first chassis, the TAC21, established the modular aluminum platform that still defines MDT today: rigid bedding, AR-pattern grip and stock, AICS magazine compatibility. The ACC Elite is MDT's current competition flagship and one of the most-run chassis on the PRS circuit. The shorter-forend ACC Premier Gen2 brings the same platform to lighter, shorter-barrel builds. The Field Stock covers traditional hunting use. MDT builds chassis, stocks, magazines, bipods, and weights at facilities in Canada and the United States.

Which MDT Chassis Is Right for You?
PRS, NRL, or positional matches: ACC Elite. Tune balance per stage with internal and M-LOK weights.
Shorter barrel (17 to 22 inches) or lighter competition build: ACC Premier Gen2. Same ACC platform, smaller footprint.
Hunting, field, or first precision build: Field Stock. AICS magazines and adjustable cheek riser without competition-chassis cost.
All three drop in on Remington 700 footprint actions and feed from AICS-pattern magazines. Match your inlet (short, long, or CIP 3.850 long) to your action and confirm bolt-handle side. Browse the full precision rifle chassis and stocks category for related options.

Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between the MDT ACC Elite and the ACC Premier Gen2?
The Elite has a 19-inch M-LOK forend, a folding buttstock, and a more aggressive grip angle. The Premier Gen2 has a 15-inch forend better suited to barrels in the 17 to 22-inch range. Both share MDT's internal weight tuning, full-length ARCA, and AICS magazine compatibility.
Will an MDT chassis fit my Remington 700?
All MDT chassis use the Remington 700 footprint. Match the inlet to your action: short action, long action, or long action CIP 3.850 (for longer COAL cartridges like 300 PRC and 300 Win Mag). Confirm bolt-handle side (RH or LH).
Which AICS magazines do I need?
Use short-action AICS magazines with the binder plate (2.870-inch COAL) for .308 Win and 6.5 Creedmoor. Use magnum-length AICS for 300 WSM and 6.5 PRC. Use the 3.850 CIP long-action AICS for 300 Win Mag and 300 PRC. All drop into any AICS-pattern bottom metal or chassis.
Ckye-Pod or GRND-POD: which one should I get?
The Ckye-Pod Gen2 is the competition pick: multiple leg-length variants, 170-degree cant, faster deployment, and tool-less tension knobs. The GRND-POD is lighter (15.4 oz), shorter, and roughly half the cost, which makes it the better fit for hunting and recreational long-range shooting.
Does MDT chassis hardware require a gunsmith?
No. Drop the action in, torque the screws to spec, and you're shooting. Suppressor mounts, muzzle brakes, and barrel work still go to your gunsmith. We link MDT setup videos and torque specs on our Tech Central library.
