Shoot Like A Robot
On the way home from the Hell Creek Kustoms 600 match at Sentinel Butte, North Dakota last Saturday, I dialed up the latest PRS podcast on the World Wide Web. Ken Wheeler was interviewing Morgun King.
You know Morgun? The guy who used to be known as “The Best Shooter To Have Never Won A Golden Bullet?”
Well, that’s all been rectified now. Morgun’s a Golden Bullet winner, finally, and he’s open about how he got there. You know? Shooting, practicing, discovering

The Beginning - With No End
Everybody has a story. Everybody’s story is interesting to me. I spent 35 years running up and down the highways of Canada and America collecting stories, delivering freight, and reading books. Over 3000 books. Truckloads of magazines. And vocalizations. Thousands and thousands of conversations.

Otter Creek rifle match recap
Otter Creek Long Range Match Recap

Impressive organization with 36 sponsors, lunch wagon, and extensive prize support including three free suppressors and various discounts (35%, 50%, 250% off, $50 off). All kids received free packages, which was a nice touch.
The competition drew 72 shooters from a wide geographic range - Billings to Minnesota and beyond. Shot at three target arrays

2026 Long Range Championships Recap
2026 F Class National Championships Experience
Last week I attended the 2026 F Class Full Bore Long Range National Championships in Moffitt, North Dakota from May 27th to May 30th. Troy Goltz served as match director alongside Tyler, his IT guy, and they ran a solid competition. The event really showcased both the challenges and rewards of long-range shooting - there were wind schools where people got properly educated by the conditions, but that’s all part of the learning process.
The div
