Impact Precision 787R Long Action: Magnum Bolt Face, Right Hand, 75 Degree Bolt Throw, Split Picatinny Rail

The 787R is Impact's full competition long action, engineered by veteran PRS and NRL shooter Tate Streater for magnum and long-cartridge builds. This is the current-generation right-hand receiver with a magnum bolt face, 75-degree bolt throw, and a split integral 20 MOA Picatinny rail.

The one-piece receiver carries an integral recoil lug and is rough machined, heat treated, EDM-cut at the raceway, and finish machined to the repeatable tolerances that make Impact prefit barrels possible. The 787R uses its own tenon and headspace spec with 1-1/16 x 20 TPI Class 3 threads; only barrels cut for a 787 will fit, and 737R or 777R prefits will not interchange.

The .750" diameter one-piece bolt runs a black carbon nitride finish, top and side fluting with a smooth bottom for clean cycling, an M16 style extractor, and interchangeable bolt knobs. The magazine well is cut for the Wyatt's MBE-3 long action box (3.825") to feed true magnum-length cartridges, and the receiver is compatible with both DBM and BDL bottom hardware. The Remington 700 long action footprint runs Rem 700 style triggers via Impact's trigger hanger.
