Description
Ace Precision Max Muzzle Brake: .30 Cal, 5/8x24, Stainless
The ACE Max is the largest brake in the Ace Precision lineup, built for heavy competition barrels where you want every bit of recoil reduction you can get. This version is bored for .30 caliber bullets and threads onto a 5/8x24 muzzle. Machined from 416 stainless steel with a polished stainless finish. Bullet Central stocks it alongside the standard ACE Brake and the ACE Mini.

Self-Timing Design, No Shims
Like the original ACE Brake, the Max uses a locking collar with indicator lines instead of crush washers, peel washers, or shim kits. Rotate the brake until your recoil tracks straight up and down, lock the collar, and it returns to the same index every time you remove and reinstall it. The 1.20" body suits larger barrel contours with muzzle diameters in the 1" to 1.250" range.
Port Geometry That Works For the Shooter
The ACE line was designed by PRS and NRL champions Clay Blackketter, Austin Orgain, and Tate Streater to fix the biggest complaint with aggressive brakes: getting beat up by gas blown back at the shooter over a two-day match. The Max uses optimized port geometry to counter recoil and muzzle rise while pushing blast away from you, so you can spot your own impacts and stay behind the rifle all weekend.
If you're running a heavy PRS or ELR barrel and want the flattest-shooting setup in the ACE family, this is the one. Questions on fitment? We're here.
